Japanese Mums and Tots Group, Chester raise £6,500

Well done to the Japanese Mums & Tots Group in Chester, who have collected £6,500 so far, a really amazing effort!

They will be forwarding their donations to the Japan Society Tohoku Earthquake Relief Fund and wish to thank all who have so generously contributed.

Japanese Mums & Tots Group have now done several supermarket 'bag & pack' collections, made a Japanese Giant (see video from the Chester Chronicle here) which they used to collect donations outside Chester Town Hall, and engaged in and received donations from other events in and around Chester. The members are deeply touched and grateful to those who have so kindly donated funds for the relief work for victims of the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami.
